The course is usually run over 2 full days, and we can provide the option for it to be face-to-face or remote.

The maximum amount of employees that we can facilitate on each course is 15; this ensures that the tutor can make sure everyone’s learning styles are being catered for.

Learning typically takes place through the use of presentations, group discussions, and tutor-led sessions.

All of our training providers are accredited which means that we will provide a certificate to each employee at the end of their training.

We know that there is a stigma in the workplace regarding mental health and we would like to start to break that stigma down.

What will your employees learn?

The course will teach employees how to start a conversation about mental health and give them tips on providing advice to a colleague who may appear to be struggling.

The employees attending the course will learn how to recognise stress within themselves and others too, the course contains information which will allow them to develop an understanding of substance abuse and how to recognise mental health conditions such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders, bipolar disorders, psychosis, schizophrenia and anxiety.

We can help them to develop a first aid for mental health action plan alongside the business ethos.
